Roll-over Valve installed on a MCX Turbo Nytro
Note: There are two options for valve mounting locations on the MCX Nytro. The desired location is between the oil tank and the MCX aluminum Tee as shown on Summitseeker's sled. It is a fairly tight fit, since the MCX Tee is using some of the space allowed for the roll-over valve. The advantage to this location is that it helps prevent oil from leaking into the MCX surge tank during a roll over event. The valve is mounted with the "short fitting" facing the oil tank. (Same as a stock sled) If space is to tight at the prefered location, the valve can also be installed in the long vent hose that exits out of the top of the MCX surge tank. At this location, oil could still leak into the surge tank, however it will still be closed off from leaking out of the long vent hose on to the snow. The oil will drain back out of the surge tank, into the oil tank once the snowmobile is back up right. When installing the valve in the long hose that exits from the top of the MCX surge tank, the valve is mounted so that the "short fitting" faces the surge tank. With either location, position the valve so the solenoid end of the valve is facing upwards approx 45 degrees. This helps oil vapor drain out of the valve, for a fast responce time.
